The 95th Ohio Volunteer Infantry was organized at Camp Chase in Columbus, Ohio on August 19, 1862 for a three year term. They were engaged in the following: Battle of Richmond, Vicksburg Campaign, Siege of Vicksburg May 19 & 22 assaults, Siege of Jackson, Battle of Brice's Crossroads, Battle of Nashville and the Battle of Fort Blakley.
