Description: Photographic postcard of Alice Roosevelt Longworth at the ceremony dedicating the memorial to United States President and former Ohio Governor William McKinley, on the grounds of the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus, Ohio September 14, 1906. She was the eldest daughter of Theodore Roosevelt, who had served as McKinley's vice president, and who became President in 1901 after McKinley was assassinated. In 1906, Alice married Ohio representative Nicholas Longworth. View on Ohio Memory.
