: Dated to the early 1900s, this photograph shows children playing stick ball, possibly in a school yard. The photograph is from the Albert Belmont Graham Collection. Based on his experiences as a school superintendent in rural Ohio, Graham advocated for the consolidation of rural schools and promoted agricultural education.
