Description: Plummet is made of reddish black hematite. It tapers at each end, with one end coming to a rounded point while the other end is flat. At the flat end there is a narrow groove about 17 mm from the end that circumscribes the object. It is polished. Item was found in Montgomery County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
