Description: Roughly rectangular gorget has two holes along the long axis and two pairs of smaller holes along a fracture. There is an engraved pattern with two parallel zigzag lines bordered by two sets of three parallel lines running from edge to midpoint. Item may be mastodon/mammoth ivory; it is white and light olive brown in color. Item was found in Hardin County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
