Description: A dog maxilla, both right and left halves, was cut at the third molars, with these molars being partially cut also. The fourteen teeth attached include six incisors, two canines and six molars. The maxilla has been cut above the alveolar process of most of the teeth, however, the roots of the canines have been cut. There is a hole broken in the palate. The bone and teeth are very pale brown and white in color. Item was excavated from Sidner Mound Number 2 in Franklin County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
