Hisylvania Coal Company Mine No. 22   Save
Ohio Film Commission
Description: This image shows a park close to where the Hisylvania Coal Company Mine No. 22 used to operate until it went defunct in the 1920s. The name Hisylvania came from the owners each putting together the names of their respective states of birth, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Unfortunately despite it's historical value, what was left of the mine was eventually destroyed. View on Ohio Memory.
