The 69th O.V.I. was organized in Columbus, Ohio, beginning in November 1861 and was active through July 17, 1865. They saw action at the Battle of Chickamauga, the Atlanta Campaign. the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain, and Sherman's March to the Sea, among other engagements. View on Ohio Memory.
