Description: Catalog from the Berger Manufacturing Company of Canton, Ohio, advertising their "Raydiant Sidewalk Lights" system, 1916. Berger Manufacturing Co. was founded in 1886 by John and Wilson Berger, and was known for producing alloy steel, sheet metal products like roofing and ceilings, and sidewalk lanterns. The company continued to expand their offerings into the 19th century, and was eventually subsumed as a manufacturing division of Republic Steel in 1930. The company is known today as Republic Storage Systems, and is still based in Canton. View on Ohio Memory.
