Description: Clara Weisenborn at Women's Recognition Day, a program associated with the Ohio Women's Hall of Fame, in 1979. She represented Montgomery County in the Ohio General Assembly from 1953-1966. In 1966 she was elected to the Ohio Senate and served two terms until she lost to Neal Zimmers in 1974. Weisenborn was an advocate of women's rights and became one of the first women to serve as a committee chair in the Ohio legislature. View on Ohio Memory.
