Description: Flint fluted point of the Clovis type is gray mottled with pinkish gray. It has roughly parallel sides that narrow slightly to a point. The base curves inward. Flutes on both sides of the base are shallow; the flute is shorter on one side than the other. Near the base the edges have been ground smooth. The tip of the point is broken. View on Ohio Memory.
