Description: An animal bone, possibly from an elk, was cut to form an awl. One end tapers to a thick point. The opposite end is unmodified. The bone is yellow, yellowish brown and grayish brown in color. Item was found in Clay Township, Scioto County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
