Description: Square saddle-type bannerstone is diamond-shaped in cross-section. There is a hole running through the center's long axis. On the upper surface there is a small projection at each end along the center line. The bannerstone is made of gneiss that is reddish gray and reddish black in color. Item was found in Wayne County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
