Hopewell Mound Group
Description: Hemispherical cone is flat on the bottom and tapered to a point at the top. The chlorite is mottled greenish black, greenish gray and very pale orange, with reflective flecks of mica visible throughout. The bottom of the cone is less highly polished than the top. Item was excavated from the Hopewell Site in Twin Township, Ross County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
