Hopewell Mound Group
Description: Ceramic pot base has four small conical feet or tetrapods, characteristic of Hopewell pots. Portions of the lower body of the pot are attached. The yellowish-brown body is decorated with horizontal parallel lines impressed into the clay with a wooden stamp (simple stamp). Item was excavated from the Hopewell Site in Twin Township, Ross County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
