Description: Quadraconcave slate gorget is roughly rectangular in shape with sides that curve inward. Corners have been squared off diagonally. It is generally gray mottled with pale red. Two holes were drilled in the center. The holes are wider on one side than the other. Item was excavated from Toephner Mound in Franklin Township, Franklin County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
