Projectile point from Early Archaic Culture   Save
Clifford Anderson Collection
Description: Long and narrow projectile point of the Thebes type has a triangular blade, the edges of which have been extensively resharpened into a steep bevel on both edges. There are deep side notches near the base, which is rectangular with rounded corners. The base has been ground smooth. One of the ears is broken. The resharpening pattern strongly suggests use as a knife. It is made of light gray flint. Item was found in Warren County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
