Projectile point from Early Archaic Period   Save
Clifford Anderson Collection
Description: Projectile point of the Thebes type has a triangular blade, the edges of which have been resharpened into a steep bevel. There are deep side notches near the base, which is rectangular with rounded corners. The base has been ground smooth. The resharpening pattern strongly suggests use as a knife. It is made of pink flint mottled with light reddish brown. Item was found in Warren County, Ohio. View on Ohio Memory.
