Description: Circular siltstone earspool is incised with an overall chevron pattern on the obverse side, which has a larger diameter than the reverse. It has a drilled hole in the center. The stone is light brownish gray and very dark grayish brown in color and has been stained green by exposure to copper. Item was excavated from Spiro Mound in Le Flore County, Oklahoma.
