Description: Thin, rectangular sandstone plate is engraved on the obverse face with abstract designs including human faces and bird forms with bilateral symmetry. On the reverse face are several long grooves, possibly used for sharpening bone tools. The sandstone is light olive brown in color. Item was found in Wood County, West Virginia. View on Ohio Memory.
