Description: This vacuum cleaner was manufactured by Air-Way Sanitizor of Toledo, Ohio, 1926. It includes attachments and a disposable bag and measures 52" x 77.47" x 12" (132 x 30.5 x 30 cm). Air-Way introduced the first vacuum cleaner with a disposable bag in 1920. The Air-Way vacuum was an improvement on the Hoover Company's electric vacuum cleaner, first produced in 1908, which used a cloth filter bag. View on Ohio Memory.
