: Aerial view of the Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus showing extensive parking along the interstate. On October 2, 1850, the very first Ohio State Fair was held at Camp Washington in Cincinnati. The fair then moved to several cities throughout the state, including Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, Newark, Sandusky, Zanesville, Springfield, Toledo, and Mansfield.
