Description: This broadside announces a mass meeting in support of women's suffrage, to be held on the grounds of the State House in Columbus, Ohio, August 24, 1914. The meeting was to be chaired by Dr. Washington Gladden, a Congregational minister in Columbus between 1882 and 1918, and a leader in the Social Gospel movement. A list of speakers includes a variety of male politicians. The only woman speaking is the president of the Ohio Woman Suffrage Association, Harriet Taylor Upton. View on Ohio Memory.
