Description: Dated 1800-1830, this wholecloth quilt has a top made of one piece of cotton chintz with a pillar design in brown, orange and tan. The back of the quilt is white. The initials "M.E.P." and "2" appear in red on the back, centered near the bottom edge. Quilting stitches form interlocking circles throughout the quilt. View on Ohio Memory.
