Hammerstone   Save
Douglas Grant Collection
Description: This gray flint hammerstone is roughly oval in shape. Both ends show evidence of battering, the result of making flint tools. The rest of the surface exhibits irregular flake scars. The hammerstone appears to have been affected by heat, evidenced by its darker color and a potlid fracture on one side. View on Ohio Memory.
