Description: This projectile point is of the Brewerton Corner-Notched type. It has a triangular blade and deep, broad corner notches. The base is straight and the edges have been ground smooth. This piece is made of very dark gray flint and comes from the Late Archaic Period. People of the Late Archaic were hunter-gatherers, and were among the first in the region to make metal artifacts from copper found near Lake Superior. View on Ohio Memory.
