Description: This photograph, taken ca. 1990, depicts the Darrow Octagon House, an octagonal house in Kinsman, Ohio, that was the childhood home of Clarence Darrow in the 1850s and 1860s. Clarence Darrow was a noted lawyer, rising to national fame as the defense attorney at the murder trial of Leopold and Loeb in 1924 and the Scopes 'Monkey' trial in 1925. View on Ohio Memory.
