Description: Photograph of the facade of St. Patrick Church in downtown Columbus, Ohio. St. Patrick Church was established and built by Irish immigrants in 1850 in reaction to the increasing English speaking Catholic population in Columbus. The church closed for a year in 1935 due to a fire that destroyed the church's pipe organ. St. Patrick's has remained in operation since reopening. View on Ohio Memory.
