: Portrait of Union soldier Alonzo Frazell posing in his Civil War uniform with a pistol. Frazell enlisted on August 4, 1862, at age 27 for a three-year period. He began as a private and later attained the rank of corporal in Company F of the 45th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. He was killed in battle at Monticello, Kentucky, on June 9, 1863.
