: This photograph is a part of a series of photographs taken by the Ohio Department of Agriculture documenting farms in Ohio. Pictured is the barn on the farm of W. I. Chamberlain, located one mile north of Hudson, Ohio, in Summit County. Chamberlain (1837-1920) served at one time as Secretary of the Ohio Board of Agriculture. At the time of this photograph in 1910, Chamberlain had 113 acres, including 15 acres in old orchard and 10 acres in young orchard and 12 acres of potatoes, plus 400 maple trees and a sugar camp. The barn pictured included a granary and water piped from the farm cistern. View on Ohio Memory.
