Description: Dated ca. 1890-1900, this is an advertisement for various undertaker wagon models sold by O. Armleder Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio. According to the advertisement, the company's motto is "Honesty and Fair Dealing Toward our Fellowmen." It also states that Armleder sells more wagons each year "than any other concern" and that "Armleder Wagons are used in nearly every city and town in the United States." Otto Armleder (1862-1935) was born in Cincinnati to German immigrants and began manufacturing carriages in the 1890s. In 1912, the company became the Armleder Motor Truck Company.
