Description: Letter from Johann G. Glauner to his wife, written while Glauner was serving in the 174th Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. The letter describes the 174th's trip from Decatur, Alabama, to Tennessee. Glauner describes the trip, including bridges being blown up and families having to leave their homes.
