Old Man's Cave tunnel
Description: Attached document reads: "Russell S. Drumm, Supervisor District Three Federal Writers' Project Hocking County CCC Camp Assignment TUNNEL TO OLD MAN'S CAVE In order to make the ascent and descent less precipitous, this tunnel has been carved out of hard clay sandstone which abounds in the region of Old Man's Cave. It is a fine example of the handwork of the CCC enrollees of Camp Hocking. Shown descending and inspecting the tunnel is one of the enrollees." This is a photo of a tunnel at Old Man's Cave, at what is now Hocking Hills State Park. View on Ohio Memory.
