Description: Reverse reads: "Project #16-31-544. Toboggan slide at Walnut Hills High School Picnic Grove, Cincinnati, Ohio. The slide is 1050 feet long with two sharp curves, and gradually decreases from an 8% to 1% grade. So far as is known this is the only existing toboggan slide in existence in Southern Ohio. The project is now 60% completed. Work started April 28, 1936, employs an average of forty-two men, and will cost a total of $26,557, of which amount W.P.A. furnished $19,757. In addition to the toboggan slide, the project calls for the construction of rustic bridges, nature trails, bridle paths, and the creation of a picnic area equipped with outdoor fireplaces, combination ping pong and picnic tables, benches, etc. Photo by W.P.A.
