Description: The fabric is a natural background with appliqued buckeye branch, leaves and nuts centered on front side. There is lettering "Ohio Women" on the front and the reverse side is solid green with brown fabric sleeve at the top with wooden a slat and wire hanging apparatus/velcro fasteners. On the bottom the case is made of green cotton twill with metal zipper and reinforced circular ends. The appliques are machine sewn. This banner was used in 1980 at "Women's Recognition Day", a part of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Ohio Women's Hall of Fame, established in 1978 by the Women's Division of the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services.
