Description: A 1950-1970 Massachusetts flag is a blue field in the shape of a shield. It is decorated with the Massachusetts seal which is an Indian with a bow in the one hand and an arrow in the other. A white star is above his shoulder. Above the seal is an arm with a sword. On the banner below the shield in gold letters is "Ensepetit Placidam Sub Libetate Quitem". The shape is rectangular and the dimensions are 100 by 160 cm. The colors are white, blue and gold.
