Description: The blue swallowtail Brigade Colors flag of the 165th Infantry Brigade, 83rd Infantry division which was organized late into World War I. The organization date was 25 August 1917 at Camp Sherman, Ohio and demobilized 12 February 1919 at Camp Sherman, Ohio. It is now a training unit of the United States Army. The blue flag was made of wool with white numbers made of cotton. The 165 at the top and the 83 at the bottom were machine sewn appliques. The flag measures 121 cm high. View on Ohio Memory.
