Description: The men in this photograph worked as a shear team for Brown, Bonnell & Company in Youngstown. They specialized in using machinery to cut the edges of metal. The company was established in 1855 when a group of steelworkers from Pennsylvania purchased the plant of the Youngstown Rolling Mill Company, also known as the Youngstown Iron Works.
