Description: Letter written by Harry R. McPherson, Curator of Parks, on May 29, 1934. Notice addressed to owners, trainers and attendants of horses, cattle and all other livestock quartered within Moundbuilders State Park, formerly known as Licking County Fairgrounds, to vacate quarters by June 15, 1934. Any person who did not vacate by June 15, 1934 would be charged $1.00 per day for each head of livestock of any age and $1.00 per day for each person quartered within the building. The notice was sent to owner, agents and attendants for their compliance to aid efforts to develop a state park to command the respect of the entire country. View on Ohio Memory.
