Description: Letter expressing gratitude and appreciation to Captain Aaron Fisher for his service from Dennette A. Harrod, President of the 366th Infantry Veteran's Association, Inc., offering Captain Fisher a lifetime membership in the Veteran's Association. Aaron R. Fisher was a highly decorated African American soldier during and after World War I; he was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross, the Croix de Guerre, Purple Heart, Mexican Service Medal, World War I Victory Medal and Army Commendation Medal for his services. After his discharge, he served as an ROTC instructor at Wilberforce University. He retired as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1947. View on Ohio Memory.
