Description: This is an image of a molding plane that was made in Trumbull County, Ohio, and dates from approximately 1860. This small, half-round plane is made of oak and iron. It has a hollow plane that is slightly offset. The Ohio Historical Society received this molding plane from Professor Charles Foulk of Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, in 1938.
