The 37th Infantry Division served in the Pacific Theater during World War II under the command of Major General Robert Beightler. The 37th Infantry Division was a part of the United States Army in World War I and World War II. It was nicknamed the "Buckeye Division" because it was a division of the Ohio National Guard View on Ohio Memory.
