Description: Jacquelyn Mayer in one of her two official Miss America formal gowns designed for her by Alfred Bosand, August 1963. The gown is a pale pink "Ban-Lon" gown with jewel-encrusted lace. Mayer was from Sandusky, Ohio, and won the titles of Miss Vacationland and Miss Ohio to qualify for the Miss America pageant. She won the Miss America pageant in 1962 and served as Miss America 1963.
