Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company's Campbell Works ore bridge track   Save
Youngstown Sheet and Tube Audiovisual Archives
Description: The ore bridge has to be able to move across the stockyard to retrieve materials that will be loaded into the blast furnace. To do this, it was mounted on wheeled legs. This photograph shows a close-up of the ore bridge track at the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Campbell Works, 1920. To the left of the track ore piles can be seen. The company employed track gangs to maintain the rails. View on Ohio Memory.
