Ten of the women are gathered around a woman in the center who appears slightly older than the others. The photograph is oval-shaped and presented in an oval-shaped mat. Text on the frame reads "Photographed by CADWALLADER & TAPPAN. Front St. over the Bank, Marietta, Ohio."
