Description: This is the 1895 issue of 'The Youth's Companion,' a magazine published by Perry Mason & Company. This issue includes advertisements for tennis balls, chocolate, starch and more, along with articles, stories, illustrations and poems. The Youth's Companion was published from 1827 through 1929, though in later years it was known as The Companion. It merged with The American Boy in 1929. Though its content was originally religious in nature, it came to include literature and entertainment and was directed to both adult and child audiences. View on Ohio Memory.
