Description: This map shows completed and projected public works in Ohio in 1826, with some coverage of the adjoining region. Routes pictured include the Ohio & Erie Canal linking Cleveland with Portsmouth, and the beginning of the Miami Canal north from Cincinnati, which had not yet been completed. The map was detached from the "Charter of the Sandy and Beaver Canal Company; and Reports of Engineers," printed in New Lisbon, Ohio, by Joseph Cable, 1834. View on Ohio Memory.
