Description: The Jeffrey Manufacturing Company, Columbus, Ohio, demonstrated its #2 and #3 Junior Lime Pulvers at the Ohio State Fair in Columbus, August 28, 1919. Pulverized, or powdered, lime was spread on farm fields to increase crop yield. These machines were belt-driven and powered either by portable steam engines or internal combustion engines.
