Description: This is a view of the chain shop of the Jeffrey Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio, ca. 1895. All of the floor machines were powered from an overhead system of drive shafts, pulleys and belts. Several types of drive chain made by Jeffrey are on the wooden floor.
