Description: This railroad flatcar held four Type B pulverizers made by the Jeffrey Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio. This photograph was taken at the Jeffrey factory, 1911. They were being shipped to Whitehall Portland Cement Company, Cementon, Pennsylvania. Pulverizers and crushers were used to crush stone, coal or other hard materials. View on Ohio Memory.
